xT911: 100% NENA i3 Aligned |

The i3 standards published by NENA specify that call handling solutions in the PSAP need to be IP-based, able to process VoIP calls natively from the internet and be able to share information fluidly over an IP network at the PSAP. Call handling solutions are evolving and rapidly making the transition to VoIP-based systems. microDATA’s xT911 has been designed and developed with such criteria at its core, affording PSAPs a call handling solution that meets NENA’s criteria for the i3 standard, yet operates equally well in legacy environments. The VoIP-based system uses TDM/IP gateways to convert incoming landline and wireless calls over to SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), and is able to process native VoIP calls or other IP-based communication directly from the internet. Implementation of the i3 standard nationwide could take years, according to NENA; microDATA offers a solution able to bridge the gap today. |

Mike’s 6+ years in public safety sales and 20+ years in telecommunications consulting/sales experience includes Call Center CTI applications, Remote Alarm Management and E9-1-1 telephony.
