xT911 fulfills all the functions of your current system and is ready for NG9-1-1 with a VoIP–based I2 and I3 aligned phone system. Comprised of two core components: xT911 and xSwitch, it supports full Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) functionality and includes a built-in soft switch (xSwitch) that handles both TELCO selective routing as well as PBX functions.

xSwitch, unlike legacy telephony switches, is IP-based, enabling the switch to leverage the power of an IP network within and outside the PSAP. In addition, xSwitch bridges the gap between the NG9-1-1 world and today.
When a landline call comes into the PSAP though TDM 9-1-1 trunks, xSwitch makes use of VoIP Gateways that convert the call to IP. However, xSwitch is ready today for processing VoIP and IP communications natively from the internet into the PSAP, enabling processing of VoIP, IM, video and future technologies.
