St.Johnsbury, VT —Christine McMullen, Vice President of the Business Development Group for microDATA, Inc has announced Sam Bard as Regional Account Manager for the Southeastern United States.
microDATA, Inc is a leading provider of 9-1-1 mapping software and data technologies to public safety organizations throughout the United States. The company was founded in 1982 and is based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Since 1998, microDATA has been providing the 9-1-1 industry with a completely integrated call handling solution that shares information over Internet Protocol (IP).
Over the past decade, Sam Bard has had extensive experience working in the emergency services and public safety communities. This includes: Executive Director of Paducah-McCracken County E9-1-1 in Paducah, KY; Director of Logan County EOC in Russellville, KY; Medical Center EMS in Bowling Green, KY; Deputy Sheriff in Russellville, KY; and a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator in both Greenville and Russellville, KY.
Mr. Bard has also worked in the private sector and been at the forefront of hundreds of professional turnkey projects for the implementation of advanced public safety system solutions including CAD, GIS, NCIC, RMS, MDTs, AVL, E9-1-1 Telephony, E9-1-1 deployments, GIS mapping, E9-1-1 addressing and Emergency Notification. He is also active in numerous industry committees including the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Kentucky chapter where he served as president in 2001-2002.
