Spatial ACD
Query Map Data Layers with a Point/Polygon Look-up
In addition to using a built-in Selective Router, xT911™ has an optional Spatial ACD™ extension, ensuring that calls delivered to xSwitch™ query map data layers before being transferred to the appropriate PSAP and call taker position.
Unprecedented Map Driven Routing
While standard Automatic Call Distributors perform the function of routing calls to the available PSAP call taker according to rules such as the order the call is received, or queuing the calls until an call taker is available, Spatial ACD™ brings unprecedented map driven routing.
Spatial ACD™ performs call routing based on a point/polygon look-up in the ESZ layer of the map. Since routing is purely spatial, a calls may optimally be routed to groups of call takers, not just to PSAPs, based on any user defined boundary such as community, primary language, or other factor.
