x9Collector™ is microDATA’s field data collection software designed to use GPS technology combined with GIS mapping functions to map building points, road centerlines, landmarks, and any other significant geographical features for display in the PSAP. Efficiently and accurately capture the required spatial and attribute information necessary to build an enhanced 9-1-1 mapping system. x9Collector™ completely integrates with x9GIS v.3 for quality assurance and control of data collected and output to a PSAP map display such as xTrakker™.
Fully integrated, with advanced, yet user friendly, GPS technology, the incorporation of a real-time GPS system provides sophisticated on-screen navigating and superior mapping potential. The live map display continually updates with the vehicle’s location in the field, eliminating any guesswork and making the technician’s principal duty straightforward.
x9Collector™ offers the following features:
- Built on latest ESRI technology – ArcGIS 9.3 Service Pack 1 with an ArcEditor or higher license (single user or concurrent license)
- Works with Common Off The Shelf (COTS), low-cost GPS unit or higher end differentially corrected GPS
- Enhanced workflow with ArcSDE Check-Out replicas. Allows one-time check out to a Microsoft Access® personal geodatabase or Personal SDE
- Integrates with x9GIS™ v. 3 and uses the same ArcEditor or ArcInfo license keys you already have in place for x9GIS™
