xCAD enables the xTrakker map to display CAD events. xCAD is required for any customer wanting to connect a CAD system to xTrakker.

xLocator (optional addition to xCAD)
xLocator is the ValidateAddress function and service that enables events to be validated using GIS data in the CAD API. When a 9-1-1 call comes in with x/y coordinates, xLocator will look up the GIS data stored on the server and provide ESN info on the ALI so all the information is on a single string. It also provides a parsed out string to the map and the CAD simultaneously.
All address validation performed through direct access to GIS data-no need to use CAD geofile with xLocator
