Extensions

xNotifier

Preset Warnings or On-the-Spot Emergency Notification

Available as an extension to xTrakker or to xT911™, xNotifier empowers 9-1-1 centers with a robust emergency notification system. Rapidly respond to any event with a notification system that employs geospatial as well as tabular data.

Administrators may work from predefined lists, or xNotifier™ will dynamically compile a list of affected site points from the xT911™ integrated xTrakker™ map; an administrator simply needs to isolate the affected area on the map. xNotifier™ will build a buffer zone around the event, and xTrakker™ will compile the site points with names and addresses. Once the contact list is assembled, and an announcement recorded, xNotifier™ will use a contracted service, such as City Watch™, where the alert may be distributed through the off site system via a combination of voice recording, text-to-speech voice recording, text, email, TTY/TDD and/or pager.

xNotifier™ offers further flexibility and control in how the notification system processes calls. In most cases calls are made in a pre-determined sequence, according to what is appropriate for a particular event, but the administrator may also set the call sequence. Calls can be made in the order they appear in the list in the database or starting at the geographic center of an event first and then progressively moving out. Alternatively, the sequence may start at an arbitrary point selected in xTrakker™, and radiate out.
xNotifier™ provides administrators with a dynamic notification system, able to respond to events quickly as they occur or enacting alerts from pre-defined event data.

For Events without a Saved Call Plan

1) Isolate the affected site points on the xTrakker™ map by drawing around the area to create a Polygon.
2) xTrakker™ will compile the corresponding addresses and contact list
3) Set-up your call plan, according to the order you want and the notification mechanism, including voice recording, text-to-speech voice recording, text, email, TTY/TDD and/or pager.

Administrators may compile and save lists in advance for known emergency evacuation areas or send ad hoc lists created at the time of an event.

Saved List Types

Always: This prepared list is called with every event. (e.g. flood zone)

Geographic: If x,y falls within a Send Polygon, then this list is called as well. (e.g. parent list associated with a school that is situated in an incident area)
